Overview
Arnold Road is a London-based project delivering an 84.6kWp solar PV system on a flat roof using Bauder-compatible mounting. The installation supports on-site renewable generation while keeping the roof build-up secure and non-penetrative through a coordinated approach between the roofing and solar teams.
The Challenge
The project required tight coordination between trades to ensure the Bauder BioSolar mounting was installed correctly before the PV equipment was fitted. Working in London also meant planning for controlled deliveries, site access, and smooth sequencing so the installation could be completed efficiently without disrupting other works on site.
The Solution
RWC Group supplied and installed the Bauder BioSolar mounting system. The solar scope included supplying and installing 180 × Aiko 470W panels and 2 × Solis 40kW inverters, completing the full PV installation and electrical integration once the mounting system was ready. The system design was built to maximise generation across the available flat roof space while maintaining compatibility with the roof system.
The Result
The completed system delivers 84.6kWp of installed solar capacity and is expected to generate approximately 83.2MWh of renewable electricity each year, saving an estimated 18.8 tonnes of CO₂e annually. This reduces reliance on grid electricity and improves the building’s overall environmental performance.
