Overview

An 8.6kWp solar PV system was delivered at the Mayberry Car Showroom in collaboration with ICS. The installation supports the client’s sustainability objectives while reducing reliance on grid electricity.

The Challenge

The project required close coordination with ICS, who supplied and installed the Bauder BioSolar mounting system and provided the SolarWatt panels. The solar works focused on completing the electrical installation and ensuring the system met all DNO compliance requirements, while integrating smoothly with the roofing installation.

The Solution

The system comprises 20 SolarWatt 430W panels, delivering a total capacity of 8.6kWp, connected to a Solis three-phase inverter. The solar array was integrated with the Bauder BioSolar mounting system supplied and fitted by ICS, ensuring a secure installation that maintained roof performance and compliance. All electrical works were completed to meet current standards and DNO requirements.

The Result

The completed system generates approximately 8.2MWh of renewable energy each year, reducing carbon emissions by around 1.9 tonnes of CO₂ annually. This helps the client lower energy costs while improving overall environmental performance.
