OVERVIEW

Optigrün Solar FKD combines a photovoltaic mounting system with an extensive green roof build-up. It is designed to distribute stored water beneath the array while supporting standard photovoltaic module layouts.

The system does not require mechanical penetrations through the waterproofing membrane.

HOW IT WORKS

A load-supported base plate and mounting frame sit within the Solar FKD roof build-up. The drainage and water-storage board, substrate and vegetation provide the support and ballast required for the photovoltaic array.

Solar Base SB 200 units are incorporated across the green roof drainage layer and connecte
